2000/10/S – Willow, AK
Sighting 10 miles from Wasilla.  Witness was driving home around 5 or 6 AM and sees "something big
wandering" in road along straight-away. "It came out of the woods from the left side of the highway.
100-150 ft from it. It walked out very casually and got about to the middle yellow lines. It briefly
stopped, turned and glanced at the witness and his truck, and then, as his exact words were, "Just
booked." I said "ran?" And he kind of struggled to come up with the term that suited what it did. He
said, "Not really ran, or started running, more like just moved so fast, he couldn't believe it. He
couldn't quite grasp what just happened or what he had just seen. He said that it was huge. I asked,
"6, 7, 8 ft??" And he just replied "yeah like that, but just so big, (the girth) of it was huge, and it
moved so fast, I couldn't believe it, then It was just gone"a way,"

Ketchikan hunter, Derek Blackmon states in 2003 to Sasquatch Tracker Associate Robert Alley that he
was working with his brother for a fly-in outfitter out of Dillingham.  Derek and brother had unloaded
clients from float plane on Mulchatna River and had some time to kill, hike “…over riverbank to view
the tundra” and spots “something … about three football fields away.”   Alerts brother, and together
they observe “tan-to-chocolate brown upright figure, just walking away from the river.”  Described
as “taking great strides and walking smoothly but really fast…”

Reported in 2009 as "... a few years ago..."  ATV riders on logging road stop in random spot on road
and "got out the video camera and zoomed in a valley next to them."  Once back in town, the friends
watched footage of their trip finding "... something large and black standing up and somewhat
hunched over, hopping around at the top of the valley.  Then it hops down a bit and leaps onto a tree
branch and swings..." in the last eight seconds of the video.
