This is an introduction course designed to teach you the essentials to manage a short term survival situation. The
skills included are survivor psychology, general safety, shelter construction, fire making and signaling along with

Custom Survival Kits (4 hours)
Some commercially available survival kits are great, while some are not so great.
However one thing they all have in common is that “one size does not fit all”. In this
course you’ll learn how to put together your own survival kit based on your individual
needs as well as the needs determined by the environment you will be in. Students will
learn basic survivor psychology and how it relates to the proper gear selection,
packaging and use of selected equipment. You will leave this course armed with the
knowledge to successfully construct a personalized kit. Tuition is $75. Contact us for

You will learn basic survivor psychology in addition to the justifications for having a fire.
You will also gain an understanding of how fire burns in addition to learning and
practicing several methods of starting fires using tested tips and tricks. In order to
provide quality instruction and individual interaction, enrollment is limited to 6 students
